23 – 24 October 2018
The fourth international Chatbot Summit comprises workshops, lectures, and debates on communication in the digital age using chatbots and artificial intelligence.
Most of the international speakers’ presentations tackle the interfaces involved in technology and communication as well as entrepreneurship and customer focus. The speakers include Jordi Torras, founder of the technology company Inbenta, Aleksey Novykov, product manager at Delivery Hero and Akemi Tsunagawa, founder of the chatbot start-up Bespoke. The numerous workshops will focus on innovations in the field of voice assistants and chatbots, go into detail to explain the concept of conversation design, and invite participants to create their own bot. Mike Gozzo, co-founder of Smooch, will talk on the topic of “Everything you ever wanted to know about WhatsApp, but were afraid to ask” and, considering the number of people who use this messaging app, he will be tackling a very current topic that also addresses fundamental issues in the digital world, including data protection. In his lecture, Rob Lawson from Google will ask what the next era of mobile messaging will look like, and Justin Lee von Hubspot will explain how marketing strategies can be optimised by using bots. Topics such as virtual and augmented reality, and customer service and customer experience will also be discussed by pioneers in the technology and communications industry. In total, over one hundred speakers and 1,500 attendees are expected at the summit.
