What do design and brand communication look like for the international market in the BRIC states of Brazil, Russia, India and China? How great are the cultural differences of these emerging economies in product design and communicating brands? International experts from the areas of product design, marketing and brand communication will be gathering on March for the fourth Culture Branding conference in Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart.
On this day, the subject of intercultural competence in industrial design will be taken care of by Angela Carvalho (Brazil), Poonam Choudhry (India), Rui Zhong (China) and Stefan Lippert (Russia). In addition, the design theoretician and historian, René Spitz, will get to the bottom of “Impulse: ‘ulm‘ – and its consequences today”, Andreas Rotzler will look at “What the brand police can learn from brand DJs”, Michael Pietig will provide insight into “B2B branding in the BRIC states” and Paul Budde will be looking at “Industrial design for investment goods in the BRIC states”.
