For the 8th time, design and communications agencies present the design skills represented in Hessen’s capital city in this series of events. This year’s motto is “Die Zeit ist reif” [the time is right] and experts and interested parties will be discussing the function of design producing meaning at various locations around the town.
As part of the Designtage, the participating agencies took part in an organised bicycle parade on 9 March in the town centre based on one of the bike apps developed by the Scholz & Volkmer advertising agency. The Designtage event itself will be opened by Klaus Kemp, exhibition curator, design and art historian with a review of design. In addition, the Open House and Get Together organised by the communication designer Creative Network und Camp of Die Firma and the evening event of Open Doors held by the participating agencies, including 3Deluxe, 99°, Agentur Bell, Circ, Michael Eibes Design, Fuenfwerken, Kaiser & Cream, Lekkerwerken and Vanderlicht will offer an exchange of communication and design ideas. After eight years of see camp, Scholz & Volkmer is presenting an experimental platform in respect of mobility, resources and energy (more information will follow shortly, also on form.de). The whole programme will be accompanied by the “Gute Gestaltung 14” exhibition managed by the Deutscher Designer Club (DDC) and rounded off by the designer’s DJ line up in the Kulturpalast Wiesbaden.
