Nemo Science Center, Amsterdam

For everyone who has no plans for the holidays yet or is looking for inspiration, together with designers and authors who participated in the issues of 2014, we have selected a series of recommendations.

The “Energy-rich” exhibition at the Nemo Science Center in Amsterdam is all about renewable energies. Here, children as well as adults get the chance to explore how one can gain energy from light, wind or water and how to then use this energy to get interesting objects in motion. Therefore, the more efficient the energy is used the faster the objects will move. In a very playful manner energy not only becomes visible, but also the effect and differences of fossil and renewable energy resources are explained.

If you do not get the chance to visit the exhibition during the holidays, you can catch up any time until the end of 2015.
