IDC 2014. Building Tomorrow’s Technology – Together
17 – 20 June 2014
We can no longer imagine a child’s everyday life without digital technology - be it in lessons, leisure time, rehabilitation programmes, in sport or games. The influence it has on children - on their physical, social and cultural environment and how it might look in the future - will be discussed at the Interaction Design and Children (IDC) conference taking place in Denmark in June.
This year, the conference has invited experts from academia and practice to show how children themselves, their parents and teachers can be involved in the design of new technology. There will be discussions and information about upcoming technologies, new theoretical perspectives, design methods and approaches and a new understanding of children’s development. Researchers, designers and teachers will be meeting to find out about new forms of technology and design on the everyday lives of children. There will be lectures, presentations, experiments and workshops.
