To mark the centenary of the Russian Revolution, the Design Museum in London is presenting the “Imagine Moscow” exhibition in which the key areas of architecture, propaganda and revolution are highlighted.

On show is rare material that uses large-scale architectural drawings and artworks, and also propaganda material and publications from the period that presents an idealistic vision that was never realised. The six projects on display focus on the areas of collectivization, urban planning, aviation, communication, industrialisation, communal living and regeneration, and show Moscow as imagined by a bold new generation of architects and designers in the 1920s and early 1930s. The exhibition is curated by Eszter Steierhoffer.

The standard ticket price is 10 pounds. Students receive a discount and pay 7.50 pounds. An overview of the Design Museum’s other exhibitions is available online.
