The world’s leading bi-annual trade fair for heating, plumbing and air-conditioning technology is an international meeting place for the sector, setting current standards in bathroom design, heating and air-conditioning technology and intelligent living. Resource conservation and the use of renewable energies are relevant topics that permeate all areas of the trade fair.

ISH aims to meet the needs for comfort, individualisation, well-being and aesthetics in an energy-efficient and resource-friendly manner. Over 2,500 exhibitors, including international market leaders, will be presenting their world firsts at the fair.

One part of the trade fair includes the so-called Bathroom Experience: What will the bathroom of the future look like? How can it meet different needs? The Water area also includes displays of modern installation systems and associated tools and fixing materials.

Under the catchword Energy, the trade fair offers a platform for future developments in the heating market. Manufacturers of current heating technology and systems, from efficient heat generation to heat transfer, will also be present.

The Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Ventilation Technology section focuses on solutions for more automation and comfort, whilst considering sustainable approaches. The presentations on intelligent building technology follow a similar pattern.

The fair is also hosting additional events in three categories. “Selection@ISH” holds guided tours, special shows, competitions and award ceremonies, providing visitors with an overview of all the events on offer. The forums, seminars and lectures held as part of “Skills@ISH” provide information on the responsible use of water and energy in buildings and encourage knowledge and information sharing. The “Career@ISH” programme provides information on possible training and further education in the areas represented at the fair in order to promote specialists and junior staff.
