3. Creative Economy Day: Europe Calling
Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Frankfurt/Main
10 May 2019
In its current form, the Creative Industries Day is the only nationwide industry day in Germany that unites the various segments of the creative industries. With a focus on Europe Calling, the programme is dedicated to Creation & Technology, Creative Business, Music and Visual Design and offers industry members ideal networking opportunities.
This year, the main focus is on the challenges and opportunities facing the European Community, as the organisers respond to current policy issues and the forthcoming European elections on 26 May. The event raises questions about the challenges facing creatives in order to create a Europe we all want to live in. What do creatives expect from Europe and what can creative people do to ensure that Europe continues to be a project of peace, freedom and solidarity? Experts from politics and business, representatives of the design industry, art and culture will meet to discuss Europe's creative future together. In order to promote dialogue, interested parties can register on a matchmaking platform accompanying the programme, in order to exchange and network more intensively with other participants in 10-minute discussions.
An exhibition area presents festivals, projects and initiatives. Visitors can also get advice and information on funding here. For free registration click here, although the number of participants is limited.
