18 – 28 June 2015
In June, the 13th edition of Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space takes place under the title of “Shared Space: Music Weather Politics”. The Quadrennial in Prague is the biggest event for scenography and theatre architecture and has been held every four years since 1967.
The exhibition space is divided into several sections. The area representing the various countries and regions concentrates on light, sound and costume design and presents the best work in photographs, videos, objects, models and installations as well as performances, live installations, presentations, lectures, workshops, art walks and fashion shows.
The student area presents a range of universities and courses specialising in scenography and theatre architecture.
Current architectural projects underway at theatres and performance spaces are being shown on the theme of exhibition spaces and theatre architecture.
In addition to the various main exhibitions, the event also offers smaller special exhibitions, (student) workshops, presentations, discussion panels and symposia, performances and live events.
