Bonde NYC

Genius Event Space, New York

22 July 2017

The first whole-day conference on Brazilian design will take place on 22 July 2017 in New York’s Genius Event Space. The event will bring together various groups of leading creatives from Brazil, creating a basis for a discussion about design.

The aim of the event is to discuss the future challenges and opportunities in Brazil. Stories about successful and innovative projects and companies will be shared so that participants can learn about these and from each other. Amongst the presenters is Nina Paim, a Brazilian graphic designer who now lives in Switzerland and most recently designed and curated the exhibition “Taking a Line for a Walk” at the 27th Brno Biennale. The speakers will also include Bárbara Soalheiro, the founder of Mesa and Cadeira, an organisation that offers small enterprises methods of finding solutions for complex systems. Other speakers are Marina Willer, Jonathas de Andrade, Celso Longo, Marcelo Rosenbaum, Frederico Duarte and Pedro Sanches
