Malmö Opera House
4 - 5 September 2017
With its two-day programme, The Conference is dedicated to the major themes and challenges that humans will have to face in their lives and work in the future. Numerous specialists, designers and thinkers will be presenting their latest insights from their work and demonstrating perspectives that could provide solutions for ever-more pressing problems.
What social shifts can we expect from digitalisation? What does a global awareness network mean for our own definition of identity? How will cities have to adapt to be more resilient, humane and dynamic in spite of rapid growth?
Above all, common to the very different themes are their size and significance for the whole global community. A number of speakers will be looking at one question to ensure the topic is covered from a variety of angles. So that visitors do not lose their way in the themes, the individual points are linked in a carefully curated presentation, indicating parallels and common areas in the approaches taken by the individual parties. Each presentation will be rounded off with a question and answer session.
A supporting programme will also take place alongside the conference from 2 - 8 September. During this week, workshops, seminars and festivals will take place in different areas around Malmö.
