One might think that the display case on the cover contains bottles, vases, and bowls from the studio of the famous still-life painter Giorgio Morandi. Far from it! None other than Jasper Morrison is responsible for the design of the exhibition furniture and its precious contents with his drawings. The "Museum Pieces" series is housed at the Galerie Kreo in Paris. Kreo offers similarly rare designs and prototypes by Hella Jongerius, Marc Newson, and the Bouroullecs. For the cover story on the rapid price development of design objects in the art market, Petra Schmidt researched for us. Markus Zehentbauer, in turn, interviewed Ron Arad about the surprisingly high sums fetched by his internationally marketed unique pieces.

This issue is also the first to be published from Basel. However, the location does not change the usual high quality of the content and editorial.
