In honor of its 50th anniversary, this issue addresses the theme of this year's largest design conference, Typo: music. Not an easy topic, considering that designing record and CD covers is considered a royal discipline! Klaus Voormann, Tibor Kalman, Peter Saville, Stefan Sagmeister, and M/M Paris have undoubtedly created icons in this genre that have become synonymous with their names. Voormann's project "Remember Revolver", on which he is collaborating with Berlin graphic designer Stefan Gandl, is exclusively presented in this issue.

With declining sales in the music industry for years, the job market for designers has also become critical. Our cover story is dedicated to the current bleak situation, but there are also surprising bright spots: more and more small labels can draw attention to themselves with experimental packaging and wild websites!
