Form 226 - Informal Info Graphics
Info-Porn and Typo-Sperm: No doubt – this issue gets straight to the point. The first term refers to forms of information design beyond visually objective data processing. Karianne Fogelberg spoke with the protagonists of this trend for us and collected spectacular examples, but she views the development quite critically. The creator of "Typo-Sperm" is the Israeli graphic designer and typographer Oded Ezer. The idea of crossing human DNA with typographic information or creating living letters does not deter him in the least. Karen Bofinger spoke with the unconventional designer and introduces him in her article.
But in this issue, we don't just deal with the latest trends in graphic design and typography; we also give an extensive voice to a true elder statesman of product design: Richard Sapper answered questions from our author Stephan Ott.
