"I am a designer. Period." Hella Jongerius is reluctant to comment on the fact that she is one of the few globally renowned women in design. For her recently published book "Misfit," she worked exclusively with women: the acclaimed authors Paola Antonelli, Louise Schouwenberg, and Alice Rawsthorn, as well as the renowned designer Irma Boom. In an interview with Schouwenberg, Jongerius discusses the ambivalence of the topic and the differences she perceives in design beyond gender stereotypes.
