We are using the 13th Architecture Biennale in Venice as an opportunity to take stock of the relationship between the two disciplines of architecture and design. In tandem with "The Great World Exhibition - The World is not Fair" staged by Lilienthal and the architectural office raumlabor, it became clear that looking beyond the boundaries of one's own discipline sharpens the senses and expands the wealth of experience. This is also reflected in Francesca Ferguson's interview with the architect Muck Petzet and the designer Konstantin Grcic.

With this issue, Sophie Lovell and Stephan Ott take over editorial responsibility for form. Instead of reinventing the wheel, they focus on the magazine's strengths and create an interdisciplinary, international, and journalistic issue. The sections Agenda and 2D / 3D / 4D have been expanded, the Material Research column becomes a recurring feature, and guest authors will now regularly appear in the Past Present Future column.
