It was high time to address style writing: For one, elements of the spray culture, which in many parts is still criminalized, have long been adapted by epigones from advertising, media, fashion, and product culture, thus – consciously or unconsciously – shaping our everyday lives. And for another, many former sprayers – known or unknown – are now very successful as architects, graphic designers, performers, fashion and product designers, tattoo artists, or typographers.
