In June, Germany can mostly expect blue skies and isolated rising clouds with average temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius. Occasionally, thunderstorms may develop, usually accompanied by rain. The changeable aspects of the weather constantly influence our daily lives, but what weather whims to expect is difficult to predict. How the climate determines the design of our clothing, how the weather is recorded and forecasts are made, and what measures we can take to protect ourselves from extreme weather conditions are all aspects we will address in the next issue.
Furthermore, on the occasion of his 90th birthday, we will feature an interview with designer Luigi Colani about his perspective on design and, building on past contributions, we will dedicate the Discourse section to the connection between design and criticism.
