DDC AWARD 2025 WAS IST GUT – Good Design and Courage to Transform
With the DDC AWARD 2025 WHAT IS GOOD, the design competition of the DDC Deutscher Design Club has been fundamentally reoriented: towards a design understanding that places attitude, effectiveness, and responsibility at its core. The publication DDC AWARD 2025 WHAT IS GOOD – Good Design and Courage for Transformation documents the competition, the symposium and networking event, as well as its background, criteria, and awarded works.
It gathers projects that demonstrate how design makes democracy visible, transforms cities, rethinks health, and understands sustainability not as an accessory but as a design task. Through articles, interviews, and statements, it offers a variety of different perspectives to comprehend design not only as a discipline but as a societal competence and transformative force.
