€59,00

The German-Swedish designer Katrin Greiling, based in Berlin, has designed two stoneware boards as form Edition #4.

Greiling's working methods and design language are shaped by her Swedish design education and extended stays in Stockholm and Dubai. At the Swedish art school Capellagården, she studied carpentry and simultaneously experimented with ceramics and textiles. The organically shaped clay plates created during this time were designed and produced by her in 2011 for the Design Bar at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, together with Capellagården's ceramic students. For form Edition #4, Greiling had a new design of the glazed stoneware plates cast for the first time. The two-tone edition in reddish-brown and sand-colored was exclusively manufactured with the help of the Bavarian manufactory Kaufmann Keramik.

Studio Greiling, founded in Stockholm in 2005, is a multidisciplinary design studio focusing on furniture design, interior architecture, and photography. After her Master of Fine Arts at Stockholm's Konstfack University, she worked on establishing her studio and as an architect, furniture designer, and photographer based in Dubai. Many of her projects have received international awards. Since 2014, Greiling has been a visiting professor at the German University of Fine Arts Saar.

The ceramic boards measure 18 and 21 centimeters in diameter. The limited edition of 100 sets of two boards can be purchased for 59 Euros, including VAT and plus shipping.

Since 2013, the publisher form has been releasing editions by renowned designers. The editions are limited-edition objects from the fields of graphic design, photography, and product design and are distributed through the form Shop as well as presented at international design events and trade fairs.
