The modular architectural system clic system was designed in 1995 by the Stuttgart designer and entrepreneur Burkhardt Leitner. Since then, the iconic modular construction with magnetic connectors has become one of the most successful flexible lightweight systems in trade fair and exhibition construction. In this edition of the form Designklassiker series, author Georg Vrachliotis explores the high functionality, modularity, and reduced aesthetics of this modern design classic. He also delves into the cultural history of systems and illuminates the design-historical context of the clic system.
