The Kunstgewerbeverein Frankfurt am Main e.V. is awarding the Circular Design Young Talent Award for the first time as part of the "M24" event series. The award is aimed at young designers and artisans from Hesse and honors innovative, sustainable works in the areas of circular economy, material research, and recycling.
An independent jury consisting of Prof. Uwe Fischer (industrial designer), Barbara Glasner, Verlag form (design and architecture expert), Ulrike Müller (board member of the Kunstgewerbeverein), Nicola Stattmann (material expert), Prof. Matthias Wagner K (director of the Museum Angewandte Kunst), will award up to three design prizes.
Young talents can look forward to a total prize money of 3,000 euros. The award winners and the most interesting works will be exhibited from November 29 to December 1, 2024, in the Historic Villa Metzler at the Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt am Main. The festive award ceremony will take place as part of the exhibition on November 29, 2024.
