Your future responsibilities:
- You will be jointly responsible for the teaching and development of the BA and MA Transportation Design degree programs.
- You will teach in the degree program's relevant subjects, supervise project and thesis work, and individually and interest-orientated support students.
- You will be significantly involved in the progressive further development of the curriculum with regard to future mobility. You will drive the innovative power and impact of the degree program.
- You will play a defining role in shaping the profile and interdisciplinary networking of the degree program at an international level.
- You will design visionary concepts for the internationalization of the degree program and actively participate in self-administration and committee work.
- With your pedagogical aptitude, you will teach in German and English.
- You think and teach the topic of mobility holistically.
What we expect:
- You have a completed university degree in design.
- You are future-oriented, highly innovative, technologically adept, practical, possess digital skills, and set individual priorities such as in the area of sustainability, "smart material technologies," connected mobility, etc.
- You have several years of experience as a designer with companies in the automotive, transport, or mobility sectors and possess an international network.
- You represent an outstanding artistic position within your field and can demonstrate this through internationally published and/or awarded projects.
- You have experience with diversity, possess didactic skills, and are enthusiastic about working with young people; ideally, you already have teaching experience.
- You possess leadership qualities and assertiveness, proven by several years of professional experience in a global company, process competencies at the highest level, and are able to convey these in teaching.
- You are empathetic, a team player, communicate openly, and are motivated to use new teaching methods and innovative teaching technologies.
Appointment requirements include a completed university degree, scientific qualification, and at least five years of professional experience, of which at least three years must have been outside the university sector.
